What can I legally do?

Not everyone can do everything. It is important to do something, 1 or 2 things every day. That effort when joined by tens of millions of people will have impact.

We see there are protests occurring all over the 50 states. Direct Action is what each of us can do to slow down the juggernaut of destroying our democracy. Each person doing something is called ‘Direct Action Politics’. here is what you can do:

• Write Emails
• Write Letters to the executive, courts, federal, state and local representatives.
• Make phone calls
• Send Text Messages
• Participate in Boycotts
• Participate in a peaceful protests
• Take personal, legal direct action
• participate in civil disobedience
• get arrested and assist to gum up the system and slow it down.
• Marshall Protests / Provide Legal support to the peaceful protestors that get arrested.

Write Emails

This website in the blogs/Actions section will provide ready written emails AND the addresses of all of the federal, local representatives as well as the executives. Don’t just write to your reps, write to all of them.

A benefit of email is that it is easy to do. The disadvantages are that the emails will likely get caught electronically so they will not overwhelm the recipient with YOUR message.

Write Letters

This website in the blogs/actions section will provide ready letters AND the addresses of all the federal, local representatives as well as the executives. Write to your reps, do a letter or two each day keep it up.

While it costs a few cents to write and mail a letter the advantages are huge. if enough people do it, the recipients office fill up with massive amounts of mail. If the ones they open have our message it becomes difficult to ignore. massive amounts of mail become an actual physical problem for the recipients.

Make Phone Calls

Look in the blogs/actions section for the phone number of all the representatives and executives. Call every day. If even just thousands of people participate it will flood them with our messages and render their phone systems useless.

Waiting for a bus? riding on mass transit, have an extra few minutes, make a phone call.

Send Text Messages

Participate in Boycotts

Look in the blogs/actions section to find the new, current and ongoing boycotts. You don’t have to boycott completely, just make a small effort to buy somewhere else. The names, phone numbers, addresses of the executives will be provided.
